Mandated Reporting for First Responders and Law Enforcement

Description

The legislation that established the Justice Center identifies certain people, including first responders, as mandated reporters.  Mandated reporters are required to report potential incidents of abuse or neglect to the Justice Center.

In this training, the Justice Center will teach participants about how to carry out their duties as mandated reporters.  This includes identifying a vulnerable person, how to determine when a report is required, how to make a report, and what to expect when calling the Justice Center.
