To help prevent abuse and neglect incidents before they occur, the Justice Center produces materials to better equip provider agencies, staff, and family members with the tools and skills they need to identify situations that pose a risk of harm to people receiving services.
We recently released two new resources to help providers navigate interactions with the Justice Center and increase awareness of its abuse-prevention efforts.
Cross-Agency Prevention Sharing Initiative Resource Repository
Located on our website (link below), this resource library contains links to information, guidance documents, and programs aimed at preventing abuse and neglect within New York State’s service systems. This was created in partnership with agencies under our jurisdiction to house resources that are often shared between providers.
