NEW Support Materials for Individuals, Families & Providers
Recognizing the sensitivity and complexity of abuse and neglect cases, the Justice Center created a team dedicated to supporting service recipients and their families through the investigative process and beyond. This specialized group of staff members provides advocacy services to vulnerable individuals, supporting nearly 25,000 people since the Justice Center opened its doors in 2013.
As part of that effort, the Justice Center has created a new set of materials to foster more effective communication between families, individuals receiving services, personal representatives, and providers. These materials are available for download on the Justice Center website and can be found below along with a brief summary.
A Guide for Effective Advocacy
When an incident occurs, individuals receiving services or their families/representatives often have questions about reporting these incidents to the Justice Center. This guidance document answers many of the commonly asked questions we receive and offers additional resources where appropriate.
