A collaborative investigation between the Justice Center and the Wayne County Sheriff's Office resulted in the arrest of Jared Dippel, an employee of a residential care facility. Dippel has been charged with falsifying records after an alleged cover-up involving a physical altercation with an individual receiving care.
"This case underscores the need for an agency like the Justice Center working in tandem with law enforcement and district attorneys to bring justice to victims of abuse and neglect. We serve as a critical advocate for individuals with special needs – ensuring each case is investigated to conclusion and collaborating with law enforcement when criminal activity is identified.
