Description
First responders and law enforcement personnel are increasingly encountering individuals with special needs. Communicating effectively to ensure appropriate outcomes can be especially challenging with vulnerable populations.
This course will provide participants with general guidelines for recognizing, responding to, and interacting with people with disabilities to ensure safe and effective outcomes for first responders, law enforcement, people with disabilities, and other community members.
